HUNI NG MISYON
n a communal move to honor our pioneers in the mission especially in this month of September, the founding month of the Society of the Divine Word, we invite you to four Saturday evenings this month as we celebrate the various seasons of the religious-missionary life – HIYAW of Joy, UHA of sorrow, the NINGAS of Bright Blazing Fiery Light moments, and the uplifting Ihip of the Holy Spirit sending us all over the world.
HUNI NG MISYON is also a celebration of the four sets of mysteries of the Rosary that tell the story of our Lord’s life with the companionship of our Blessed Mother as the first missionary, she who heard and obeyed the Word of God, and in whose nativity, we the SVDs began the journey of 146 years and counting.
Your generosity would benefit our retired SVD priests and brothers whom we honor as our trailblazers, and also the wider range of missionary advocacies that we can still do as we respond to these challenging times.
