Judenite Math Wizards made it to the national finals of the Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO)

Three Judenite Math Wizards made it to the national finals of the Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO) and will be part of the training pool for the Philippine team for the International Mathematics Olympiad 2018.

Steven Reyes (9A), Stefan Marcus Ong (10A), and Matthew Isidro (SHS 12C) surpassed the different levels of the PMO to be part of the national finals. The qualifying stage and area stage were held last October 28, 2017 and November 4, 2017 respectively.

Steven won third place in the area stage and he also ranked first in the oral rounds during the national finals, although no formal awarding was given to the latter.

Congratulations to our Judenites, their parents, and their mentors, Mr. Bryan De Leon, Ms. Marjorie del Rosario, Mr. Ferdinand Rondon, Mr. Christian Canonoy, and Dr. Manuel Tanpoco.

The competition was held at the Ateneo de Manila University last January 20, 2018.
