Rev. Fr. Godfroid Manunga, an SVD missionary from Johannesburg, South Africa, presided on the Tuesday 6:40 morning mass at the SJCS chapel last July 27, 2010. Fr. Manunga  is a native of the Republic of Congo.

In his homily, Fr. Manunga expressed his gratitude to SJCS for allowing him to celebrate his 18th sacerdotal anniversary  on that mass. He is in the Philippines to deliver a research paper on the Indigenous of the South African countries to be held in Tagaytay. The convention is to be attended by 70 missiologists around the world.
