Last August 17, 2009, the school director, Fr. Jerome Marquez, SVD joins the other member schools of Mendiola Consortium in signing the design for the construction of the Peace Arch Gate along Mendiola Street. 

The project, in collaboration with Malacanang and PSG, plans to construct a wide gate near Chino Roces bridge (Mendiola bridge) symbolizing its  common vision  for peace. The peace arch gate hopes also to replace the ugly barbed-wire barricades and trailers clogged up along Mendiola.

Among those present at the signing are: Dr. Padolina (CEU president), Sr. Jenny (Holy Spirit president), VP academics of San Beda, VP of  La Consolacion, City Administrator of Manila, and PSG representatives.
